Catalan artists visit the Foundation

A group of approximately fifteen Catalan artists visited the Stämpfli Foundation last July 5th during a cultural tour of the town. Their visit was conducted by Sitges Museums guide Sebastià Giménez, who explained the general lines of the Foundation and Erró’s work, and showed them certain details of the pieces on display. The Stämpfli Foundation is to open the Museum of Contemporary Art in early 2011

The Stämpfli Foundation is to inaugurate the Sitges Museum of Contemporary Art in early 2011. This new centre will house and exhibit an art collection consisting of some 70 works by 54 recognised contemporary artists from 21 different countries.
